Melanotaenia duboulayi “Oyster Creek“

Wir hatten schon viele duboulayi-Formen im europäischen Hobby, keine konnte sich bislang so recht durchsetzen – vielleicht schafft es ja diese. Die Grundfarbe ist ein metallisches Grün mit roten Streifen zwischen den Schuppenreihen. Auffallend sind die gelben Körperseiten. Das hatten wir bisher bei keinem duboulayi.

Over the years we had several M. duboulayi varieties in the hobby, but so far none of them lasted for long – maybe this one can. The basic color is a metallic green with red lines between the scale rows. The yellow sides of the body are a distinctive trait of this variety and set it apart from any other duboulayi that we know.
